The Canal Pursuit Ottawa event will take place along the beautiful Rideau Canal pathway on the morning of August 29, 2026. 
The aim of this annual event is to raise both funds and awareness to support individuals facing mental health challenges. By being active together, we demonstrate that the burden of depression does not have to carried alone.

Good to know:
~Our non-timed event is open to walkers, runners, strollers and wheelers of all ages. 
~Start time will be 10 am. A virtual event option is available if you are not able to participate on August 29.

~Participants will register on this page using the button “Join Team” for either 5k (one loop) or 10k (two loops) of the course which will finish at Parliament Hill. 

~Registration is FREE. 

~Participants are encouraged to help the team reach the fundraising goal by collecting donations.
